Walk for Fun 2008

Well we did it!  On Sunday 27th April 2008 at 12 Noon men, women, children and dogs from all over the UK walked in memory of loved ones, to raise funds for Jo's Trust and awareness of cervical cancer.  It was an emotional day for some, but very worthwhile.

Thank you so much to all who organised a walk, participated, donated, sponsored, gave out leaflets, put up posters, did radio, press or TV interviews and generally helped raise awareness.  We couldn't have done it without you all and we look forward to our next event in 2009!  Well done everyone.  Here are some photographs of the day. (More will be added soon).

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Zoe Ball turned up to support a Crawley company dedicated to the fight against cervical cancer.
Former Live & Kicking host Zoe popped into Cytyc's UK headquarters on Napier Way, Manor Royal this Monday to see their new training school.

The daughter of maths wizard Johnny Ball and wife of dance legend Fat Boy Slim got to see the latest in cancer detection and treatment.  Staff and guests said they were delighted to receive the star's backing.
