"Let's Meet" daysIt was a long held wish of James Maxwell, founder of Jo's Trust, to host a special day for women affected by pre-cancer or cancer of the cervix so that they could meet others facing similar challenges and share personal experiences. Sadly, James did not live to see the first "Let's Meet" day held in London in November, 2004. Jo's Trust returned to the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts in London for its fifth "Let's Meet" Day on Friday, 30th November, 2007100 guests, including invited healthcare professionals enjoyed a lively and informative day in the attractive surroundings of the RSA. It was a first "Let's Meet" day for some new Jo's Trust members while others renewed friendships and all enjoyed the opportunity to 'put a face to the name'! Some photographs of the day.
